**JOB OPPORTUNITY: INSURANCE/REINSURANCE BROKER**

**(Take note that Reinsurance Brokers are not the same as Agents. We do not want Insurance Agents)**

**Key Responsibilities**:
**i) Client Management**:

- Establish and nurture robust relationships with clients, understanding their unique re/insurance needs.
- Analyze client projects and recommend tailored reinsurance solutions.

**ii) Policy Placement**:

- Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with insurance companies on behalf of clients.
- Develop and present comprehensive re/insurance proposals to underwriters.
- Prepare renewal strategies and verify the accuracy of documentation.

**iii) Risk Assessment**:

- Conduct thorough risk assessments based on client information to ensure adequate coverage.
- Recommend reinsurance placement structures and adjustments to enhance client protection.

**iv) Documentation and Compliance**:

- Prepare and review accurate re/insurance documentation, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain meticulous records of client interactions and contract details.

**v) Claims Assistance**:

- Collaborate with the Claims department to expedite claim settlements.
- Advocate for clients' interests during the claims resolution process.

**vi) Market Research**:

- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and emerging risks.
- Identify potential insurance and reinsurance markets aligned with company strategy.

**vii) Client Education**:

- Educate clients on insurance and reinsurance matters to empower informed decision-making.
- Provide guidance on risk management and loss prevention.

**viii) Business Development**:

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and potential clients.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to expand the client base.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Degree Holder in the relevant industry, preferably in insurance/reinsurance.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills; ability to work independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft products.
- Fluency in both spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Team player with excellent collaborative and communication skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: RM4,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mont Kiara: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

- Bachelor's (preferred)
