Develop ideas from food preparation processes for marketing purposes.
- Develop product improvements based on sensory testing and consumer data.
- Establish product specifications and documentation.
- Modify new product recipes and ingredient selection of nutrition, shelf life, and regulations.
- Troubleshoot production processes to resolve production, quality, and regulatory compliance issues.
- Review methods to improve the quality of new food products and compliance with food regulations during mass production.
- Work hand in hand with team members to plan the new menu and develop seasonal offerings
- create maintain a high standard of baking for all products and ensure that presentation is always top-notch
- To work with the marketing & operation team to determine and establish a new project/ menu. Assist to monitor the progress of the project against agreed targets
- To plan and execute R & D projects such as design and formulate new products and existing products improvement.
- Liaise with food manufacturers and suppliers for information related to interesting ingredients for R&D purposes.
- Ensuring that manufacturing processes conform to the government, processing, consumer, and industry standards.

**_Requirement_**:

- Knowledge in food sciences with a minimum of 1-year industries experience in an R&D food environment
- Good personality and positive working attitudes, responsible, self-discipline, and dedication.
- Knowledge of pastry and bakery/ culinary will be added advantage
- At least Bachelor's Degree in Food Science / Food Technology or any related discipline.
- An innovative and independent individual with strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Knowledge in GMP, HACCP, HALAL, FOOD ACT 1983, and related requirements.
- Cheerful, creative, innovative, idealistic, and interested in food research and development.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
