Patent Executive

Quality Oracle Group is a leading Intellectual Property firm in Malaysia, committed to providing top-notch IP services to our clients. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Patent Executive to join our dynamic team.

**1. Patent Filing and Prosecution**:

- Respond to office actions and manage communication with patent examiners or overseas partners.

**2. Client Interaction**:

- Liaise with clients to understand their inventions and provide guidance on patentability.
- Conduct patent searches and analysis to assess the novelty and scope of inventions.
- Advise clients on patent strategies and portfolio management.

**3. Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all patent-related documents.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to patent filings.

**4. Collaboration and Support**:

- Work closely with inventors, and other team members to draft and review patent specifications and claims.
- Provide support during patent litigation and enforcement actions as needed.
- Stay updated on changes in patent laws and regulations and advise the team accordingly.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Science, Law).
- At least 2 years of experience in patent prosecution or a related field.
- Strong understanding of local and international patent laws and procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency in using patent databases and IP management software.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Registered Patent Agent or relevant certification.
- Experience in a law firm or corporate IP department.
- Knowledge of trademark and copyright laws.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,653.60 per month
