Lecturer (Early Childhood)

Communication and liaise with students, lecturers and management to make sure all students’ academic progress and lecturers’ teachings develop effectively.

**Responsibilities**:

- To ensure all program members are assisting students by advising and providing current, complete and accurate information.
- To conduct curriculum and program evaluations on a continual basis using continuous process improvements techniques
- To lead activities related to accreditation (MQA, ISO etc.)
- To cross - teach with other programs if services are needed
- To coordinate tutorial sessions for students
- To prepare “table of specification” for examination questions
- To formulate exam questions
- To moderate questions papers prepared by lecturers before submission to Exam Department
- To mark students’ answer scripts
- To be a member of Subject Specialist Group (SSG)
- To check and sign students’ log books achievement each semester after placement
- To compile exam marks and submit to Exam Unit
- To conduct mentor-mentee system
- To monitor students attendance and absenteeism
- To check students’ excuse form
- To assist in student affair matters (discipline, attitude and moral)
- To maintain a neat, well-organized and safe work environment
- To assist HOD in developing the meeting agenda
- To monitor students’ involvement with extracurricular programs
- To undertake any reasonable ad hoc assignments as may be directed by the immediate superior from time to time
- Monitor students’ academic progress o Be a member of curriculum development committee

Required Qualifications
- **Master Degree or Bachelor Degree in related fields (Early Childhood)**
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in Diploma and Degree programmes
- Good command in English and Malay
- Excellent presentation skills
- Positive attitude towards work and people

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
