Position Summary: As a Gym Cleaner, your primary responsibility is to ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the gym & pool facilities. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for gym members, staff, and visitors. This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning and Sanitizing: Perform regular cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors, walls, and equipment. Sanitize high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, handrails, and fitness equipment to maintain a hygienic environment. Clean and disinfect restrooms, showers, and locker rooms.

Equipment Maintenance: Ensure exercise equipment is clean and in proper working order. Wipe down and disinfect machines, benches, weights, and other equipment after use. Report any equipment issues or damage to the appropriate personnel.

Waste Management: Empty trash receptacles, replace liners, and dispose of waste in designated areas. Separate recyclable materials and ensure they are properly recycled.

Stocking and Inventory: Monitor and restock cleaning supplies, paper products, and toiletries in restrooms and locker rooms. Inform the supervisor when supplies are running low, and assist in inventory control.

Safety and Security: Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures, such as using personal protective equipment (PPE) and following appropriate chemical handling protocols. Report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor immediately.

Collaboration: Collaborate with other staff members, such as front desk personnel and maintenance technicians, to maintain a clean and organized gym environment. Coordinate with the management team to address any specific cleaning requirements or special events.

Customer Service: Interact with gym members in a professional and friendly manner, addressing any cleaning-related questions or concerns promptly and courteously.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Previous experience in commercial or janitorial cleaning preferred.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in performing cleaning tasks.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.

**Salary**: RM1,800.00 - RM2,000.86 per month

Schedule:

- Holidays
- Night shift
- On call

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kuala Lumpur: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

- Cleaning: 1 year (required)
