Social media is central to our marketing strategy for high-growth businesses like ours. This is an impact position responsible for the planning and organising of our organization’s overall communication strategy.
You will use your marketing background and passion for design to help grow the Comfort Works brand. Tasked with the running of our day-to-day social media platforms, you will possess exceptional written and communication skills alongside a creative flair for engaging content creation via the use of Adobe Creative Suite.
You will understand the importance of constancy and confidently produce copy in line with the Comfort Works tone of voice. Acting as a liaison for press and media, you will also be instrumental in developing a communication strategy and rapport with editorial and digital media.
**What you'll get to do in this role**:
**Social Media Management**
- Act as the brand guardian for our social media content across our core channels in line with our brand's voice and goals.
- Content Management: Maintain our social content calendar, execute promotional initiatives such as contests or giveaways
- Content conceptualising & creation: Work with the design team to create strategic content that speaks to our target market, generates engagement, and leads users into our sales funnel.
- Ensure the top three social platforms are populated with regular content, with a priority on Pinterest, followed by Facebook, then Instagram.
- Cross-collaborate with other teams: Work with other departments and team members to amplify our marketing messages, collateral, and product offering.
- Community management: Actively engage with our target audience to resolve their issues, respond to feedback, and keep them engaged.
- Monitor and Strategize: Monitor social media trends and the competitive landscape so we can create strategic decisions for the brand.
**Influencer Engagement**
- Amplify our brand through influencer partnerships that align with our brand values including sourcing and onboarding of talent and being the point of contact for them or their agencies.
- Create and manage campaigns, give-aways, voucher codes for every marketing campaign.
- Gatekeepers of brand guidelines: Ensure all influencer-generated content is always on-brand and on-point by following influencer outreach SOP and talking points.
- Measure the success of their efforts with trackable and tangible KPIs for all initiatives.
**Affiliate Marketing**
- Monitor and track budget usage of each Affiliate bi-weekly to ensure budget utilisation is optimised.
- Negotiate and set up targeted campaigns with affiliate partners and test effectiveness and ROI.
- Set up CPA by new vs return customers and look into setting up via category/product.
- Manage the existing CPA tailored tier structure on affiliates to ensure we are effectively getting a good ROI, including rewarding those affiliates who provide more value and exposure by opitmising their rates where required to drive higher exposure.
- Work alongside Finance on all monthly reconciliations and complete end of month billing and commissions pay-out fulfilled.
- Align with the marketing and creative team to make sure all assets shared across online opportunities are on-brand.
- Manage the commissions structure with accuracy on our affiliate platform.
- Ensure all online activities are trackable and have the correct tracking set up.
- Report on activities through the Affiliate Platform and Google Analytics data.
- Research and keep up to date with competitor activities and best practices across affiliate marketing and partnership activities.
**You’re the ideal person because**:
- Minimum 4 years of social media management experience.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in influencer marketing.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, journalism, public relations, or related field.
- Knowledge of how to leverage social influencers to create an effective brand strategy and achieve business goals.
- Highly engaged on multiple social media platforms, with a proven understanding of how to grow brands through multiple social media channels.
- Excellent copywriting skills and an eye for design and able to develop the right voice for each social media platform.
- Strong understanding of analytics across all platforms, able to use data to contribute to campaign optimisation.
- Strong social media knowledge of key platforms, namely Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube - as well as media partnerships, influencers, and emerging technologies and channels.
- Strong analytical skills including demonstrated ability to use Google Analytics and Excel.
- Sense of ownership and pride in performance and its impact on the company’s success.
- An enthusiastic personality that takes initiative and loves a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
