IT Manager

**Job Summary**

Leads and oversees the IT department, ensuring efficient and secure IT operations, managing IT projects, and developing strategic plans to meet the organization's technology needs.

**Key Accountabilities**

1. IT Infrastructure Management
- Ensure the organization's IT systems operate smoothly.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues

2. IT Security
- Develop and implement IT security protocols
- Regularly update and patch software and hardware vulnerabilities

3. Project Management
- Oversee IT projects from conception to completion

4. Strategy Development
- Stay updated with the latest IT trends.
- Provide strategic guidance on IT initiatives.

5. Continual Improvement
- Identify areas for IT process improvement

6. Reporting & Dashboards
- Develop reports and dashboards to provide insights into operations

**Other Responsibilities**

1. Team Management
- Lead and mentor the IT team
- Provide training and development opportunities

2. Budget Management
- Plan and manage the IT department budget.

3. Vendor Relations
- Negotiate contracts with IT service provided.
- Ensure timely renewal of software licenses and service agreements.

**Requirements**:
1. Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

2. Proficient in IT infrastructure, network management, IT security protocols, cloud services, and enterprise software solutions.

3. Certifications like ITIL, PMP, or CISSP are advantageous.

4. At least 5 years in IT management or a related senior technical position.

5. Strong leadership and decision-making skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
