CNC Programmer Milling Machinist

Responsibilities - Performs a variety of routine and project support activities in the field service function on manual milling machines, CNC milling machines, CNC turning, 5-Axis Double Column Mill machines, Vertical Lathe, Horizontal Milling machines, saws, grinding and metrology equipment. - Technically knowledgeable in troubleshooting various drive systems and CNC programming of maker SIEMENS, FANUC, etc - Responsible for master planning in installing, commissioning and testing new/ used machines from start to handover to production - Schedule, plan and perform periodic maintenance activities, troubleshoot, and repair routine technical, mechanical, and electrical equipment failures in the field. - Assesses and responds to situations using standard procedures in isolation and fixing problem machines. Reports design, reliability, and maintenance problems through field service management software. - Operate and understand all machine controls and functions before machine hand-over to the production operator entirely;
- Responsible for machine adjustments to ensure products are manufactured to required specs;
- Periodic inspection and replacement of tooling;
- Responsible for all in-process quality checks and other job/ service/maintenance-related paperwork according to ISO 9001:2015 and AS9001 - Monitor cycle times and tooling and work with production and management to strive for continuous improvement;
- Maintains knowledge of tooling and fixtures used in CNC machining - Completion of all required reporting of service work performed, time sheets, and other reports as set forth by the Field Service Manager. - Ensuring spare parts stock levels are kept at specified levels and maintained in a presentable, good condition. - Provide training for local staff and interns on machine setup - including program machine, tooling replacement, and machine maintenance/service. Assist junior machinists with OJT status to ensure product quality and machining safety. - Function as a facility manager to upkeep all equipment and supplies continuity at all times - Provide decisive decision-making to management on new/ used machine suitability for production
