CNC Machinist

**REQUIREMENTS / SKILLSET**:
Mechatronic, CNC, CAD&CAM, Die and Mold Tooling, Manufacturing or equivalent.

▪ Minimum 1 years’ experience in CNC.

▪ Able to read and interpret technical drawings.

▪ Capable of writing and understanding of basic G & M code of the machine.

▪ Good hands-on experience in handling CNC EDM, CNC Wire Cut, Lathe and milling will be added advantage

▪ Knowledge of how to operate grinders, lathes, and milling machines.

▪ Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues that arise during the manufacturing process.

▪ To be able to drive changes and be a change agent.
- Able to read and speak in English, Mandarin speaking is advantage

**JOB DESCRIPTIONS**

A Machinist, or CNC Machinist, produces precisely engineered parts used to build instruments, machines, and

tools. Their duties include setting up equipment, operating equipment and inspecting finished parts. The

responsibility of a Machinist is to make parts that fully meet all required specifications using technical drawing and

instructions.

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

- Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications and

drawings.
- Take measurements and mark material for cutting and shaping.
- Prepare CNC program and select suitable cutting tools for CNC, Milling and Grinding for new product.
- To program and operate CNC machine to produce part/components based on the technical drawing.
- To ensure the work piece dimension and appearance similar to the part drawing and ensure the

quality of parts is to meet standard requirements.
- Execute the machining operation as per routing.
- Monitor machining parameters and feedback to programmer if necessary.
- To carry out basic machine maintenance and improve machine operating ratio.
- Provide technical, tooling, fixtures support to production.
- To support the engineering team in testing, modifying, and developing new part/components.
- Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Maintain good housekeeping at workplace.
- Report all daily activities to superior.
- Undertake other roles & responsibilities that are assigned by the company and immediate superior

from time to time until full closure.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
