QA Lead

**WHAT'S THE ROLE?**

The role of QA Lead for Mobile Apps (Android / iOS) is responsible for planning and executing test strategy, motivating a team of QAs to write, automate and execute test cases and coordinate a geographically distributed development team to ensure high software quality. This position will also review system requirements, track, and analyze quality assurance metrics.

**WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?**
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured functional and non-functional test plans and test cases
- Prepare test data and ensure testability of features
- Host live testing sessions between various backend and front-end teams to ensure end to end testing of features especially for IoT oriented features involving Hardware & Software
- Get the testing done using the QA engineers in the team - but also be hands on to coach and guide them as required.
- Identify, record, document, and follow through system defect(s)
- Track, analyze and report quality assurance metrics

**WHAT YOU NEED IS**
- Minimum 7-10 years’ experience in software testing with at least 2-3 years in Mobile App testing
- Demonstrated knowledge of software QA & Automation methodologies, tools, and processes
- Good knowledge of Atlassian toolchain (Jira, Confluence and Zephyr) and CI/CD tool (Gitlab)

**Salary**: Up to RM15,000.00 per month

- Ara Damansara: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- QA Lead for Mobile Apps: 3 years (preferred)
- software testing: 3 years (preferred)
