Welder Assistant

**Responsibilities**:

- Support welders during welding operations by assisting with setup, preparation, and post-welding tasks such as preparing materials and workstations, setting up welding equipment, cleaning and maintaining welding equipment, tools, and work areas to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Collaborate with the welding team to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Collaborate with the fabrication team to help with measuring, cutting, and shaping metal or other materials as needed.
- Assist in the setup and operation of fabrication equipment, such as band saws, grinders and others.
- Assist in material handling and inventory management by organizing and transporting materials to different workstations.
- Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during fabrication or machining processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure productivity and safety.
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents or injuries in the workplace.
- Any other tasks that may assign by the leader.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in welding, fabrication, or machining is preferred but not required.
- Basic understanding of welding techniques, fabrication processes, and machining principles.
- Familiarity with various fabrication tools and equipment, such as welding machine, band saws, shears, CNC machines, lathes, or milling equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while working with measurements and specifications.
- Good physical stamina.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and follow instructions.

**Salary**: From RM1,800.00 per month
