Medical Physicist

Requirements: -Min Master in Medical Physics. -Ability to gather data, compile information and prepare reports -Knowledge and understanding of current radiation therapy principles, methods, procedures and techniques -Understand the operational characteristics, usage and safety parameters of comprehensive range of radiation therapy equipment and facilities -Knowledge of radiation safety principles, methods and procedures -Knowledge of regulations, guidelines and standards for the provision of medical physics/radiation therapy to patients -Pleasant personality with good communication skill -Responsible, discipline, proactive and ability to work as a team -Willing to work in Klang, Selangor Responsibilities: -Perform routine quality assurance (QA) tests in timely manner. -Perform patient-specific delivery QA of approved radiotherapy plans. -Perform treatment planning of radiotherapy. -Manage the physics tools, maintain in good condition and ensure calibrations are up to date. -Assist in arrangements of external referrals for Nuclear Medicine procedures. -Maintain detailed records of all routine QA performed. -Maintain filing of all calibration reports, QA reports and certificates. -Contour organs at risk and perform treatment planning as per prescribed by the Oncologist. -Upkeep the cleanliness of the physics room, equipment room and Tomo server room. -Investigate and report the findings of any anomaly of radiotherapy equipment to HOD of Cancer Centre.
