**Descripción del Trabajo**

Asignar la habitación según la solicitud y las preferencias del cliente, siempre que sea posible. Registrar previamente a los huéspedes seleccionados y preparar los paquetes de llaves. Organizar y coordinar los procedimientos de ingresos y registros previos para los grupos que van llegando. Examinar, hacer un seguimiento y atender las solicitudes de cambio de habitación o de fechas de partida cuando sea posible; comunicar el estado al personal correspondiente. Confirmar las reservaciones y cancelaciones. Examinar diariamente las habitaciones fuera de servicio. Asegurarse de que las tarifas se ajusten a las normas del mercado y de que se documenten todas las excepciones que surjan. Verificar y reajustar la facturación para los huéspedes. Archivar el papeleo o la documentación de los huéspedes. Organizar y procesar todos los registros de ingreso y salida de los huéspedes. Activar las llaves de las habitaciones. Obtener pagos válidos. Identificar la cantidad de habitaciones que se asignaron de más. Comprobar si se han duplicado las reservaciones; bloquear las habitaciones. Encargarse de preparar los informes diarios. Hacer un seguimiento de los huéspedes para asegurarse de que sus solicitudes o problemas hayan sido resueltos a su entera satisfacción. Recibir, registrar y transmitir los mensajes de forma exacta, completa y legible.

Cumplir con todas las políticas y los procedimientos de la compañía, asegurarse de que el uniforme y la apariencia personal sean pulcros y profesionales, mantener la confidencialidad de la información patentada y proteger los bienes de la compañía. Recibir y reconocer a todos los huéspedes de acuerdo con los estándares de la compañía; anticiparse a sus necesidades de servicio y atenderlas; agradecerles con aprecio genuino; asistir a las personas con discapacidades. Hablar con los demás utilizando un lenguaje claro y profesional, preparar y revisar los documentos escritos de manera exacta y completa y atender los teléfonos utilizando el protocolo adecuado. Coordinar las tareas y el trabajo con otros departamentos. Servir como modelo o mentor departamental. Cultivar y mantener relaciones laborales positivas con los demás; apoyar al equipo para alcanzar los objetivos comunes. Acatar los estándares de seguridad de la calidad. Estar de pie, tomar asiento o caminar durante un período prolongado de tiempo. Ingresar y localizar información mediante la utilización de computadoras y/o sistemas de punto de venta (Point of Sales, POS). Mover, levantar, transportar, empujar, arrastrar y ubicar sin ayuda objetos que pesen 10 libras o menos. Ejecutar otros deberes de trabajo razonables solicitados por supervisors.
