**Our Team**:
Work on a highly motivated team of Vice President of Asia Operations professionals in the Asia region.

**Job Summary**:
Oversees the planning, development, implementation and maintenance of manufacturing methods, processes and operations for new and existing products. Ensures the effective use of materials, equipment, and personnel in producing quality products at minimum costs. Acts as liaison with engineering in releasing new products. Develops systems to maintain reports and record keeping of company products. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and Support Cross Functional Teams based in Asia to manage outsourced Semtech bump, assembly and test supply chain.
- Secure capacity required to meet revenue targets every quarter.
- Drive multiple-source strategy to build flexibility and ability to respond quickly to spike in demand and mix changes.
- Select and partner with suppliers whose bump, package and test technology roadmaps align with Semtech Technology Roadmap.
- Drive Semtech Operations Factory Strategy to grow business with suppliers who consistently demonstrate high quality standard and delivery performance.
- Manage technology transfer, develop bumping/advance packaging process capability & capacity for new product introduction and manufacturing.
- Maintain strong relationship with both core and strategic suppliers. Balance the business between short term gain and long term needs.
- Build a talented High Performance Team - Highly responsive and dedicated people with excellent Teamwork and Collaboration.
- Demonstrate good interpersonal skills working with diverse cultures.
- As a Director of Local Entity - signatory to local financial statement, tax documents, immigration documents and justification to secure renewal of employment pass for management and technical staff.
- Lead and support country based motivational and team building activities to improve retention.
- Co-work with HR to ensure cost effective health care insurance for the people.
- Ethics and Values - adhere strictly to Semtech core values and international ethics standard at all times - good and tough times.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- B.S. or M.S. in Electrical, Electronics, Materials Engineering or other related qualification with 15+ years of experience in Semiconductor Manufacturing and/or experience managing multiple leading OSATs in Asia, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Experience in leading and supporting cross functional teams.
- Experience in managing end-to-end supply chain.
- Semiconductor manufacturing experience.
- Experience working with leading OSATs in Asia.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Experience in managing matrix organization.
- Strategic Agility - sees ahead clearly, can anticipate future consequences and implement competitive strategies.
- Project and Performance Management.
- Good interpersonal skills working with diverse cultures.
- Result driven.
