Flavourist (Ampang)

**Responsibilities**:
1. Creation of flavours for products providing great tasting and cost optimized flavours for Industrial Customers.

2. Self-directing on complex projects including planning and leading cross functional project teams, defining, and assessing project requirements and designing and managing experiments.

3. Commercialization of flavours (understanding of processes and operations for product manufacture) and troubleshooting problems.

4. Interface and communicate project status with customers and commercial team.

5. Evaluate and assess new ingredients and technologies and work to develop areas that may need improvement.

7. To carry out calibration of measuring devices.

8. To assist in the handling of Customer’s enquiries and complaints.

9. To conduct quality checking and data recording activities in the laboratory.

10. To assist in the implementation of FSMS (FSSC 22000, ISO 22000 & HACCP) policies and requirements.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree, or equivalent in Food Science.
- Knowledgeable in raw materials, manufacturing processes, quality assurance programs and food regulations.
- An in depth understanding of ingredients and technology along with their impact on product taste and functionality.
- Has excellent ability in taste discrimination and flavour descriptor vocabulary

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: RM4,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
