The Vice President of Operations is a newly created role to plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee operations activities in the organization, ensuring development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs of the organization. The VP will be expected to have operations experience alongside with strong ability to think outside from the box for innovative ideas. Among the many responsibilities some are listed below. This person will report to the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Supply Chain, Partnerships & Operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Accountable for strategic planning, implementing, and managing the Operations department activities to deliver the growth priorities, goals, targets and ISO objectives for the department and the company.
- Define and implement operations structure, and processes according to the strategy.
- Reliable and responsive resource to our clients, management, peers and subordinates to ensure that all the parts of the processes come together to deliver our services to meet our client's expectations.
- Being a thought leader, offering knowledge and expertise to solve issues
- Championing operational functions while providing the lead of project management on key transformational initiatives within the organization.
- Spearhead, lead, develop and deliver workflow process and systems improvements within operations team and collaborate with other departments on those changes.
- Monitor performance to proactively identify efficiency issues and propose solutions.
- Constantly develops and implements initiatives which optimizes business performance and results in increased clients’ satisfaction.
- Define and guide activities and communications to ensure best practices, adherence to standards and operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain metrics, analytical reports, and key performance indicators to optimize operations to achieve the organization’s KPIs of Revenue and Gross Profit.
- Works with the SVP to develop/maintain department performance goals and objectives which is cascaded down to each individual team member as appropriate.
- Ensures call volume forecasts and planning requirement are built to manage peak volume periods to ensure delivery of KPIs.
- Closing Leads and developing upsell strategies to grow the organization’s profitability.
- Provide regular performance updates to the senior leadership team. Complete regular analysis (monthly and quarterly) of operations team’s performance reports and ensure accuracy and timely distribution of reports that provide insight to performance.
- Develop and manage annual operations budget. Track invoices and expenditures ensuring careful evaluation of trends and expenses that impact budget.
- To chair operations' meetings, promote timely meaningful updates/reporting, sharing, brainstorming for better service management on a regular basis.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Tertiary education with Degree.
- Minimum 10 years related experience in operations will be an added advantage
- Provides strong, dynamic leadership that mentors, develops, and guides team of managers and travel counsellor.
- Demonstrated experience with metrics and analysis including workforce planning, productivity, SLAs and KPIs required.
- Pay attention to details, emphasize qualified information.
- Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices of operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: RM0.10 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
