**Job Summary**:
The Maintenance Technician ensures the smooth operation of machinery for production. Conducting preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, they should minimize downtime and uphold food safety standards. Their role is vital in delivering high-quality products to B2B customers.

**Probation Period**:
The first three months at RM2,500 per month.

**After Probation**:
RM2,800 per month.

**Role and Responsibilities**:

- Perform repair and maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment used in production, ensuring their smooth operation and minimizing downtime.
- Conduct preventive maintenance according to schedules to prevent equipment breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot machinery malfunctions and breakdowns, diagnosing issues and performing repairs promptly to minimize production interruptions.
- Complete maintenance reports, including preventive maintenance logs and work orders, to document maintenance activities and ensure accountability.
- Ensure all machinery and equipment are in good condition and functioning properly, conducting regular checks and inspections as needed.
- Assist in maintaining inventories of equipment parts and supplies, checking stock levels, and requesting orders to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Monitor and maintain the auto lubricant oil/grease levels of machinery at optimum levels, ensuring proper lubrication of all critical components.
- Train production workers on routine preventive maintenance tasks to promote equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
- Adhere to food safety and GMP rules at all times, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining product quality and safety.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the maintenance workshop, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
- Collaborate with other departments as needed to address maintenance-related issues and support overall production goals.
- Perform any other assigned duties as needed to support the operations of Putra Food not limited to tasks listed in this job description.

**Job Requirements**:

- Minimum SPM, Certificate, Diploma in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Over one year of proven experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting machinery malfunctions and performing repairs.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance processes and techniques.
- Familiarity with food safety and GMP regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work in a dynamic production environment and on rotational shifts.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM2,800.00 per month

**Education**:

- STM/STPM (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Technician: 3 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 100% (preferred)
