Chief Cashier

**Responsibilities**:
To lead, oversee and monitor cashiering, receiving and collecting of payment in the form of cash, credit or debit card, e-wallet transactions for goods or services purchased/rendered in order to reconcile their daily collections.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- To monitor receiving payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits in accordance to company policies and procedures.
- To make sure all sales from cashiers are captured through POS system and must be verified for its accuracy.
- To balance and reconcile all cashiers’ collection and ensure all payments received are accounted for.
- To perform spot checks on floats at cashier counters at times.
- To represent and uphold high personal standards and company standards.
- To adhere to the strict company banking policies and procedures.

JOB DUTIES
- To handle sales and to create more product and sales awareness to all patrons and customers.
- Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change and house float maintained at all times.
- To brief cashiers daily in order for them to be well informed of all activities and events in the park.
- To ensure cashiers abide by all company policies and procedures in handling collections.
- Monitor and oversee the work of the team on a day-to-day basis.
- To assign the workload and schedule to the team on a daily basis and makes decisions on various daily workload demands.
- To handle more complex customer problems and inquiries in terms escalation on payment matters.
- To provide on-the-job training to cashiers.
- To reconcile all cashiers’ collections at the end of the shift and update accordingly and proceed to make preparation for depositing at the bank the next day.
- To perform general cashiering duties such as scanning items, collecting payments, verifying payment, etc. during peak times or as needed.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Minimum a Diploma Holder in any field
- A minimum of 3 years in chief cashier/supervisor role, experienced in cashiering and POS systems. Has led a team of cashiers.
- Analytical and alert to all possible discrepancies related to payments.
- Willing to work on shift, weekends and public holidays.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
