Install optical fiber cables and necessary accessories to set up new telecommunications services
- Inspect equipment and circuit installations to ensure an acceptable standard
- Place/terminate optical fiber cables
- Undertake proof tests such as power tests, OTDR testing, circuit commissioning
- Assemble, position, and label equipment installed
- Install and maintain telecommunication and other data systems at customer’s premises
- Attend to customer network outages
