Electrical & Instrument Technician (Northport)

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and repair of electrical and instrumentation equipment, including motors, drives, PLCs, control valves, sensors, and other related devices.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation issues, ensuring mínimal downtime and efficient resolution of problems.
- Assist in installation and commissioning or upgrading and improvement projects, ensuring all installations are correctly installed, properly tested, and compliant with company standards, industry codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Effectively monitor, keep track, and update the inventory data, such as but not limited to production-related chemicals, tools, machinery, and equipment.
- Analyze current equipment to identify areas of inefficiency and needs for improvement.
- Collaborate with other engineers to procure efficient equipment and instrumentation in accordance with safety and usability standards and organizational expectations.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Participate in safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations as required.
- Work closely with operations, engineering, and other maintenance team members to ensure effective communication and coordination of activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Job Requirements**
- At least 2 years of working experience in the process industries, such as oil & gas, chemicals, and petrochemical fields.
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing to technical and non-technical persons.
- Able to read and interpret P&ID diagrams, drawings, and specifications.
- Highly committed to execution, aggressive, dynamic, and result-oriented.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and under pressure with tight schedules.
- PC literate and able to use Microsoft Office software packages.
- Able to work independently as well as being a team player with a strong commitment to department harmony and a strong sense of responsibility.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month

Schedule:

- On call
