**The Opportunity**:
Key focus will be on the Reconciliation platforms used for ETD and OTC to cover vendor mandated version upgrades, continuous improvement by implement operational efficiencies and manage platform migration, RANtask to DUCO.

This role has a global reach and has significant exposure, the incumbent’s primary goals are to:

- Lead, as an individual contributor role, the change agenda and a large book of work for initiatives relating to Clearing (ETD and OTC) in KL
- Ensure local management/delivery of the change budget.
- Prioritise the workload in partnership with the IntelliMatch IT team
- Interfacing with Clearing IT for Operations aspects of system change and implementation,
- Interaction with Line Management and Change Management in London, Hong Kong, US and off shore sites supporting the HBEU/HBCE/HBAP/HSI Balance sheets
- Assist the organization in performing data compiling, mining and analysis to evaluate problems and drive solutions.
- Deliver clear, concise business requirements to deliver optimal solutions to complex business problems
- Active stakeholder management and partnership with senior stakeholders and their delegates - this will be key criteria for the success of the Clearing change programme
- Governance/chairing of change forums

**What you’ll do**:
Impact on the Business:

- Lead diverse line and change teams cross-site and region.
- Increased control through reducing manual processing
- Cost and FTE saves through automation
- Manage schedules, identify and track dependencies/ interdependencies, manage and escalate issues and risks as appropriate.
- Assess and understand the implication of any change to the BAU team and downstream process in terms of technological/infrastructure demand, resources demand, skillset demand, workflow restructuring, and roles redefinitions.
- Co-ordinate and manage key testing phases for Operations e.g. UAT, ensuring training is conducted and the agreed Operating model is successfully delivered.
- Typical KPIs and Targets:

- Ensure all delivery is within agreed timeframes and delivery schedules set by Project Steering Committee’s or key stakeholders
- Ensure business benefits are identified and tracked through to realization
- Ensure appropriate governance and regular communication / status updated are provided to key stakeholders and management
- Ensure the team produces high quality, accurate and timely deliverables to the business stakeholders.
- Ensure local sites management are informed and their expectations are managed.

Active engagement with Customers / Stakeholders:

- Ongoing engagement with stakeholders and to deliver the required outputs. Our customers/stakeholders are
o Front Office (Sales and Business Managers)
o Relationship Managers
o Line Operations
o IT (HTS)
o Operational Risk and Internal Control
o BRCM
o Finance - as required for best practice and demise opportunities
o Global Function Heads for the Clearing processes including those led outside of KL from London, Hong Kong and NY
o Central GMO change, reporting, site wide activities
- Ensure clear and accurate communication is conducted between the global/regional projects and the local sites
- Ensure appropriate escalation of key issues and risks to local /regional management
- To be the key face off for Operations for any key Clearing Reconciliations Change Delivery projects
- Typical KPIs and Targets:

- Performance against automation RAG ratings and reducing cost
- Clear, accurate and timely advice provided to the functional & line managers and Project Stakeholders and global team.
- Effectively communicate business reviews and gains stakeholder approval for recommendations and change
- Ensure quality deliverable are produced, that meet the expectation of the stakeholders.
