**Job overview**:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative, experienced, and qualified **ELL Specialist **for the **January 2024** start. **Sri KDU International School Subang Jaya** is located in the outskirts of the safe, modern and vibrant capital city of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We are a growing FOBISIA and COBIS associate member school, in our seventh academic year.

**What we are looking for **
- Experience teaching new learners and/or learners in the early acquisition stages of English between the ages of 8-15.
- Experience working in international school setting is an advantage.
- Teachers with a relevant degree relating to a **Professional Certificate, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master's Degree, PhD degree in TESL, TESOL, TEFL**:

- English language fluency is essential and will be evaluated as part of the recruitment process.
- The ability to commence employment immediately is essential.

- Customizing and individualizing student learning experiences
- Capability to inspire and guide students in reaching their personal objectives
- Aptitude for motivating and instilling a passion for learning
- Excellent knowledge in teaching methodologies for English language acquisition
- Adept at employing diverse assessment and feedback techniques

**About the Role**

It is an expectation that SriKDU teachers have detailed knowledge of not only the developmental characteristics and learning needs of the students they teach, but also their personalities and who they are as people. This requires genuine empathy and skill in meeting the wide variety of individual learning and pastoral needs of international school students with their differing linguistic, cultural and educational circumstances.

**Plan and deliver excellent learning and teaching**

SriKDU teachers are not only required to stay abreast of their respective curricula but must also set high expectations for their students, and as a result, set challenging learning goals and employ a variety of strategies, resources, and digital technology to support students in achieving top academic outcomes.
