Define Product perimeter: Statement Of Work & Bill of material - Make Geometrical Analysis (including gap and flushness, tolerances, Datum scheme, Geometrical & Dimensional &Tolerancing recommendations) - Make internal and external component specifications and drawings. - Determining methods and sequence of operations and scheduling work to be performed from tool design drawings. - Designs and creates jig and fixture details and holding devices. - Manage and perform risk analysis (DFMEA + Design reviews) - Validate Design: prototype / production - Manage specifications, manufacturing and validation of the means (checking fixtures, test jigs, End of Arm Tooling) - Manage product validation (functional, geometrical and quality) - Insures coordination of specialists and experts on the extended team - Determines at the beginning of the project provisional budget (hours and cost) - Proposes adjustments and modifications link to perimeter evolution during project life time - At end of the project, takes part in the project assessment and demonstrates best quality practice and the difficulties encountered. - Ensure confirm jig and testboard verification processes are done systematically, adequately defined and documented.
