We are looking for a young and vibrant French Teacher that shows enthusiasm for instilling French Language skills to students from Primary all through Secondary and shows great teamwork with other Educators to ensure progressive excellence in French Studies in our School in Petaling Jaya.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Curriculum Development**:
Develop and implement lesson plans and instructional materials in accordance with curriculum guidelines and standards, and according to the different student levels and needs.
Design engaging activities and projects to promote language acquisition, vocabulary expansion, and cultural understanding.
- **Instruction and Assessment**:
Teach French language skills including speaking, listening, reading, and writing through a variety of instructional methods.
Conduct assessments to evaluate students' language proficiency and progress.
Provide feedback to students to support their development and address areas for improvement.
- **Cultural Enrichment**:
Introduce students to French culture, history, traditions, and current events.
Incorporate authentic French materials such as literature, films, music, and art into lessons to enhance cultural understanding and appreciation.
- **Classroom Management**:
Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment conducive to language learning.
Implement effective classroom management strategies to promote student engagement, participation, and behavior.
Ensure the safety and well-being of students during instructional activities.
- **Collaboration and Communication**:
Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate instructional activities, curriculum alignment, and assessment practices.
Communicate regularly with students, parents, and administrators regarding student progress, classroom activities, and school events.
Attend professional development and team building sessions for further upskilling.
Support the School in other ad-hoc events as and when necessary.

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in French, Education, or related field.
- Proficiency in French language (native or near-native fluency preferred).
- Experience teaching French language and culture at the appropriate grade level.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of instructional strategies and technologies for language learning.
- Commitment to promoting cross-cultural understanding and appreciation.
- Able to work with students of various age groups (primary-secondary).
- Applicants must be willing to work in **Petaling Jaya.**

**Salary**: RM4,000.00 - RM4,200.00 per month
