**Job Title: Food and Beverage Junior Purchaser**

**Location**: PETALING JAYA

As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Food and Beverage Junior Purchaser.

**Job Overview**:
As a Food and Beverage Junior Purchaser, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient procurement of food and beverage items for our organization. You will work closely with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to source, negotiate, and purchase products that meet our quality standards while staying within budgetary constraints.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies to optimize cost and quality.
- Source and evaluate suppliers/vendors for food and beverage products.
- Negotiate contracts, prices, and terms with suppliers/vendors to secure favorable agreements.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
- Coordinate with other departments to forecast demand and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify potential opportunities or risks.
- Resolve any issues or disputes with suppliers/vendors regarding orders, deliveries, or quality concerns.
- Collaborate with the finance department to track and analyze procurement expenses against budgetary targets.
- Assist in identifying areas for process improvement and cost savings within the procurement function.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in purchasing, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers/vendors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and industry standards is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
