Forestry Technician

**Primary Roles and Responsibilities**
- Conduct survey, site analysis, and measurement of forest areas and tree inventories in all sites using traditional and GPS survey equipment.
- To perform boundary marking of ech compartment or sub-compartment within the Forest reserve prior to any felling and timber extraction activities.
- To identify existing resources such as water and electricity supply for all sites under concession.
- Monitor felling and timber extraction activities by logging contractor.
- Monitor movement of timber logs and wood waste in and out of the site.
- Assist in overseeing forest plantation activities such as nursery, replanting, fertilization, etc.
- Assist in coordinating with government agencies, contractors, and relevant parties on licensing, approvals, and documentation related matters.
- Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by Chief Operating Officer or/ Forestry Supervisor.

This position is based in Kuantan, Pahang.

Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: RM3,000.00 - RM3,700.00 per month
