You would be responsible for identifying potential members or customers who fit your organization's target demographic or criteria. This involves market research, data analysis, and understanding the needs and preferences of potential members.

**2. Market Intelligence / Analysis**:
Conducting research on industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics to identify opportunities for growth and expansion. This can include analyzing market data, consumer behavior, and industry reports.

Preparing and delivering compelling presentations and proposals that highlight the benefits of membership or services offered by your organization. You'll need to showcase how joining or partnering with your organization can benefit the prospective members.

**5. Negotiation**:
Negotiating terms and conditions of membership agreements or contracts with potential members. This involves understanding their needs and aligning them with your organization's offerings.

**6. Lead Generation**:
Managing and nurturing leads through the sales funnel, from initial contact to conversion.

This may involve setting up meetings, giving product demos, and addressing any questions or concerns prospects may have.

**7. Collaboration**:
Collaborating with marketing, communications, and product development teams to ensure that your organization's offerings are aligned with market demands and are effectively communicated to potential members.

**8. Metrics and Reporting**:
Tracking and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) related to membership recruitment, such as conversion rates, acquisition costs, and ROI. Using data-driven insights to optimize recruitment strategies.

**9. Customer Relationship Management (CRM)**:
Maintaining an organized database of potential and existing members using CRM tools to track interactions, follow-ups, and progress in the sales pipeline.

In some cases, Business Development professionals may also play a role in retaining existing members or customers by ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and engagement.

**11. Continuous Learning**:
Staying updated on industry trends, best practices in membership recruitment, and changes in the competitive landscape to adapt strategies accordingly.

**12.Compliance**:
Ensuring that all recruitment activities comply with relevant laws and regulations, especially if dealing with sensitive information or industries with specific compliance requirements.

Success in this role often requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of the organization's products or services, a strategic mindset, and the ability to adapt to changing market conditions. Additionally, a results-oriented approach and the ability to meet or exceed targets are essential in business development roles.

**Requirements**:
Job Types : Full-time

Salary : RM5,000 per month

(Salary commensurate with experience, Base + Commission)

Education : Diploma/Advanced Diploma and above

Experience : Minimum 3 years sales experience with proven sales track record

Language : Ability to speak multiple languages (preffered), including English and

Bahasa Malaysia

Work Location : Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur

Availability : February 2024
