Roles & Responsibility
- Manage cycle counts of product inventories on a regular basis according to SOP or management requirement.
- Investigate the underlying cause for inventory inaccuracy. Problem solving skills is hence, crucial.
- To oversee that the arrangement of goods has been done in an orderly system within the stock location system
- Investigate and put in immediate corrective action to ensure locations of stocks storage are always accurate in SKU, batch no. and quantity.
- Leading others to comply to safe working practices.
- Monitor delivery schedule and customer orders to meet On-Time Delivery in full (KPI).
- Escalate to the HOD when any abnormal activities are noticed.
- Coordinate with customer service and logistics departments in delivery result and meeting customer’s contractual KPIs.
- Perform process and system testing and track performance by area to locate and solve problems in data integrity, productivity, and efficiency.
- Prepare relevant reports pertaining to inventory in timely manner as per customer’s requirement.
- Monitoring incoming shipments and coordinate with 3PL closely and timely to avoid any incur of unnecessary cost.
- Responsible to plan and coordinate with warehouse team to execute pre-planned stock take schedules.
- Be responsible in the stock reconciliation after cycle count/ stock count.
- Ensuring FEFO /FIFO is observed as per customer’s requirement.
- Be a good team player to ensure all functions within the warehouse work seamlessly together for a smooth and effective operations.
- Other roles and responsibility as per assignment by immediate superior or management.

Expected Skill Set:

- At least 3 years of working experience in the area of inventory management and control.
- Problem solving skills.
- Have experience in fully organizing stock take experience from preparing count sheet, organizing team and resources to system(s) updates on the final physicals count results to the final stock reconciliation step.
- Medium to advance level of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Words knowledge.
- The incumbent is expected to be system(s) savvy in order to run this role effectively and efficiently. Good understanding on how the system(s) behaves in order to have the fundamental knowledge for problem solving in inventory management.
- Good communication skills both verbally and written (in English and Bahasa Malaysia) is a must (able to clearly deliver the key message to recipient(s)).
