Associate Professor

**Job Requirements**:

- Proven experience in academic leadership, preferably as a Head of Department, Deputy Dean & Dean.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate research excellence and scholarship in higher education context.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of key strategic issues in the higher education sector.
- Experience in the development & delivery of initiatives and projects.
- Experience in workforce planning and management, research, education and engagement in academic environment.
- Familiarity with Malaysian higher education regulations and accreditation processes.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Added advantage: strong written & spoken command in Mandarin.

**Job Descriptions**:

- Support the Dean in developing & delivering the strategic plan for the faculty.
- Lead and coordinate the academic activities of Schools within the Faculty.
- Responsible for line-managing, advising, encouraging and guiding Heads of School and other appropriate persons within the Faculty.
- Support the Dean in providing leadership with respect to the development of high quality teaching and learning, and research in the Faculty.
- Assist in developing the faculty's stakeholder relationships in a manner which is most likely to lead to the successful development and progress of the faculty.
- Contribute to marketing and external liaison activities, including local and international student recruitment.
- Undertake undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and supervision as appropriate.
