**Job Title: DevOps Specialist**

**Salary Range: RM5000-RM9000**

**Responsibilities**:

- Implement scalability and performance optimization strategies, including capacity planning and performance tuning of a large-scale deployment.
- Implement, configure, and manage Kafka and AMQ (ActiveMQ) to facilitate efficient and reliable message processing and communication.
- Develop robust monitoring solutions for OCP, Fuse, AMQ, and Kafka, utilizing industry-standard tools to proactively identify and address potential issues.
- Establish effective alerting mechanisms to promptly respond to critical events and maintain system stability.
- Implement high-availability configurations for OCP, Fuse, AMQ, and Kafka to continuous operation.
- Collaborate with the security team to implement and enforce security best practices for OCP, Fuse, AMQ, and Kafka environments.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to data handling and system security.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient and scalable solutions.
- Provide mentorship and knowledge-sharing sessions for team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash Shell, and Java for streamlined deployment processes and efficient monitoring.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps for OCP, Fuse, AMQ, and Kafka environments.
- Ensure that the documentation is up-to-date and accessible for the wider technical team.
- Establish and maintain relationships with technology vendors related to OCP, Fuse, AMQ, and Kafka, staying informed about updates, patches, and new features.

**Basic Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of proven experience as a DevOps Specialist or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash Shell, and Java programming languages.
- Strong understanding of containerization and container orchestration using
- Kubernetes & OpenShift.

**Preferred Qualifications**

**- **Certification in Kubernetes, OpenShift, or relevant technologies.
- Hands-on experience with OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).
- Familiarity with message broker technologies such as Kafka and AMQ.
- Experience with Fuse integration technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab

CI).
- Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.
- Proven experience in disaster recovery planning and execution.
- Expertise in configuring and managing high-availability setups, especially for Red Hat

Enterprise Linux nodes.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills (Verbal & Writing).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Demonstrated commitment to proactive maintenance strategies.
- Excellent documentation skills.

**Salary**: RM5,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
