Plant Manager

**Job Summary**

The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the glove manufacturing plant’s operations, including production, maintenance, quality control, and safety. This role involves strategic planning, managing plant staff, and ensuring production goals are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- **Minimum of 10 years in a manufacturing environment with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in gloves or medical device manufacturing**.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement production plans to meet business objectives and customer demands.
- Monitor and optimize production processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure production output meets quality standards and delivery schedules.
- Develop and execute strategies to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee maintenance and repair of plant equipment to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Prepare and manage the plant’s budget, including capital expenditures and operating costs.
- Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve profitability.
- Develop and implement quality control systems to ensure products meet standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
- Address customer complaints and quality issues promptly.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supervisors, engineers, and production staff.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Prepare and analyze production reports to identify and implement improvements.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute the plant’s strategic vision.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to drive innovation.
- Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials.
- Manage inventory levels to balance cost efficiency with production needs.
- Implement effective logistics and warehousing practices to streamline operations.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From RM6,000.00 per month
