Indirect Buyer

Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Source & Purchase Indirect Materials/Services according to specification.

2. Prepare quote comparison & monitor RFQ through process & documenting all concerns, discrepancies & issues & submit for approval.

3. To perform daily Purchase Requisition and Purchase order Processing

4. To follow-up & confirm delivery lead time of PO and expedite delivery of goods

5. Initiate Open Bidding for crating services

6. Dealing with Sub-Contractor for manpower supply

7. Maintain Facility Yearly Service Contract Agreements

8. Maintain price list, approved Vendor master list & Contract Agreements.

9. Manage all suppliers in a manner consistant with the highest professional, ethical, moral & legal standards.

10. To plan, source & develop new potential vendors at the competitive price, quality & lead time.

11. Embark on cost reduction activities & participate in regular cost saving program.

12. Perform other ad-hoc assignment as assign by Management from time to time.

Requirements (Please include education level, skills and experience)

1. Minimum Diploma in any discipline with at least 2 years' experience in Material/Supply Management or SPM with minimum 5 years of experience in Material/Supply Management.

2. Preferable with Material/Supply Management in a manufacturing environment, ability to comprehend & implement changes, accomplish task within deadline, detail oriented with sincere desire to produce accurate, quality-oriented work & positive attitude.

3. Good negotiation skills, to deal with supplier for best price, services, quality & purchase term & conditions.

4. Good analytical skills, to work with vendors to determine the best deals based on price, quality, lead time, on time delivery & other factors.

5. Able to work in fast paced environment

6. MRO experience is added advantage

**Salary**: From RM2,500.00 per month
