Lecturer - Psychology

Communication and liaise with students, lecturers and management to make sure all students’ academic progress and lecturers’ teachings develop effectively.

**Responsibilities**:
1. To ensure all program members are assisting students by advising and providing current, complete and accurate information.

2. To conduct curriculum and program evaluations on a continual basis using continuous process improvements techniques.

4. To cross - teach with other programs if services are needed.

5. To coordinate tutorial sessions for students.

6. To prepare “table of specification” for examination questions.

7. To formulate exam questions.

8. To moderate questions papers prepared by lecturers before submission to Exam Department.

9. To mark students’ answer scripts.

10. To be a member of Subject Specialist Group (SSG).

11. To check and sign students’ log books achievement each semester after placement

12. To compile exam marks and submit to Exam Unit.

13. To conduct mentor-mentee system.

14. To monitor students attendance and absenteeism.

15. To check students’ excuse form.

16. To assist in student affair matters (discipline, attitude and moral).

17. To maintain a neat, well-organized and safe work environment.

18. To assist HOD in developing the meeting agenda.

19. To monitor students’ involvement with extracurricular programs.

20. To undertake any reasonable ad hoc assignments as may be directed by the immediate superior from time to time o Monitor students’ academic progress.

21. Be a member of curriculum development committee

**Required Qualifications**:
a). Master Degree or Bachelor Degree in related fields.

b). At least 2 years of teaching experience in Diploma and Degree programmers.

d). Good command in English and Malay.

e). Excellent presentation skills.

f). Positive attitude towards work and people
- _-Academic Qualification: Masters/ Bachelors in any psychology field (Psychology/Developmental Psychology/Industrial and Organizational Psychology/Cognitive Psychology/Neuropsychology/Social Psychology/Educational Psychology, etc.)_

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: RM2,000.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
