Allocate manpower for the equipment troubleshooting at the production.
- Conduct an inspection to assess the condition of the parts.
- Conduct joint inspection with client representative to discuss on condition of the equipment.
- Prepare inspection reports (Initial report, final report) stating the condition, our recommendation, and activities carried out on the equipment received for overhauling.
- Analyse and finalize the list of spares / raw materials required to complete the overhauling.
- Send inquiries to vendors/sub-vendors / suppliers with details of spares / raw materials and requirements.
- Planning and allocation of manpower for the overhauling activities which shall include machining activities, testing, dynamic balancing, ceramic coating, surface preparation, etc.,
- Preparation of required documents to issue PO for vendors/sub-vendors / suppliers.
- Coordinate with client for joint inspection, witnessing the equipment, spares, and raw materials.
- Preparation of CAD drawings for spares, equipment, and Pipelines such as manufacturing drawings (2D/3D), fabrication drawings, Isometric drawings, etc.,
- Conduct site visits/inspections to assess the condition of the site, equipment, and environment to carry out works at the site.
- Preparation of Site inspection report, daily work report, commissioning report, etc.,
- Preparation required documents to carry out site activities such as Method Statement, Risk Assessment, Material gate passes
- Supervise the manpower at the production to execute the activities as per work procedure and planning with safety measures.
- Must secure a competency/Permit-to-work qualified by end-users for various projects of overhauling equipment such as Valves, Pumps, and Equipment replacement.
- Coordinating internally to transport equipment, materials, and tools between site and workshop.
- Able to provide training to the team.
- Generate departmental reports.

Skills and Knowledge
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related degree
- 10-15 years of working experience in ceramic manufacturing
- Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills, including highly technical material
- Willingness and ability to mentor/direct junior process engineering personnel
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and capable of performing job duties.
- Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
- Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
