Seamstress

As a Seamstress, you are responsible for daily tailoring duties including altering client garments and staff uniforms to deliver an excellent client and member experience.

**JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Responsible for garment fitting with clients; Take accurate body measurements, record, advice and discuss with the client on alterations
- Repairing garments as per client requirements including cutting, shortening sleeves, takes in waistline, lengthen the pants or replace buttons etc complying with the Company guideline
- Carry out uniforms fitting and alteration with new and existing staff; Ensuring proper recording of uniform stocktake
- Ensure alterations complete within time frame; Scrutinize the condition after repair
- Sorting and maintaining organized storage of garments and uniform
- Responsible for maintenance and upkeep of sewing equipment in sewing room
- Ensure garment waste is disposed appropriately
- Coordinate on store event; Provide tailoring support as when required

**KEY REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES**

**_Requirements:_**
- Prior work experience in the hospitality and fashion industry would be given priority
- Excellent sewing and machine skills with good understanding of proper measurements and sizing
- Good communication skills with approachable character and well-groomed
- Ability to work independently and meet multiple deadline in a face pace environment
- Methodical, detail-oriented and well organized
- **Able to work on retail hours including weekend/PH** (8 hours work/day with 8-10 off days in a month
