CNC Machinist

RESPONSIBILITIES &DUTIES: 1. Review blueprint / technical drawing to understand how to set up the part 2. Run good quality parts and supervise until the end of the full cycle of machining 3. Understanding the basic operation of the milling /turning machine (G/M code. datum point setting, basic cutting tool knowledge, etc.) 4. Able to set the machine independently and troubleshoot. You are required to operate the high-precision 3-axis / 4-axis / 5-axis CNC machines. 5. Work closely with engineers, manufacturing personnel, programmers or other relevant parties to resolve machining problems. 6. Responsible to schedule jobs for machinists and machine utilization for manufacturing purposes. 7. Opportunity to provide training and guidance to other machinists to complete their job efficiently. 8. Any ad hoc tasks as required by supervisors/management KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS REQUIREMENT: 1. Ability to read math and angles Complex blueprint reading. 2. Capable of performing some heavy labour, ability to lift 50-75 lbs. 3. Satisfactory communication skills (verbal and written) 4. Good working knowledge of hand measuring and inspection tools. 5. Knowledge and exposure to 5S practice and ISO requirement is a must EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 1. Minimum qualifications from Certs to Diploma in CNC Technology / Machining or relevant. 2. Relevant working experience from two (2) years to a minimum of three (3) years in CNC Machining.
