Medical Physicist

Responsible to render professional medical physics services (Dosimetry Planning, Quality Assurance, Radiation Safety & Protection) to the Oncology department in accordance to Ministry of Health & Atomic Energy Licensing Act 304 guidelines and Private Healthcare Facilities & Services Act.
- Responsible in ensuring patient safety and adequate protection during the whole treatment process including radiation treatment planning, delivery, simulation and related processes.
- Responsible to ensure that the Radiation Oncology facilities and activities are safe and comply to MOH guidelines.
- Responsible to up hold the radiation safety standard as set by the Hospital requirement and accreditation standard.
- Assist the Senior Medical Physicist & Cancer Centre Manager in implementing the departmental action plans to achieve the goals & objectives, KPIs set by the hospital management.
- Assist the Senior Medical Physicist & Cancer Centre Manager in developing of new protocols and policies.
