**Job Overview**

This position manages the Planning and Procurement Function for the company and includes the activities of material management for Production requirements. Key duties include:

- Identification of available supplies, sourcing activities, supplier management,
- Material delivery timeline planning,
- Logistics activities for the movement of materials from source to base,
- Receipt and utilization management of materials specifically for sales order planning.

**Responsibilities**:
**Pipeline Planning**
- To work with the respective Sales Units on their order requirements; sourcing, advising availability or recommending alternative materials for Sales consideration to meet their customers’ requirements and order delivery schedules.
- To liaise and obtain supplier quotations in order to furnish Sales with quotation requirements and evaluate supplier quotations to ensure that these are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required.
- Provide weekly material availability/movement reporting and managing any ad hoc changes in sales pipeline requirements.
- Work hand in hand with other operations units (Production, NPI) to manage order delivery schedules

**Material Identification, Sourcing and Procurement**
- Manages the Procurement function to source and develop good working relationships with Material Suppliers both local and internationally.
- Work to achieve the most favorable quality, service, cost, payment terms, warranty for materials purchased by developing multiple suppliers and sources of materials.
- Responsible for supplier evaluation and due diligence to minimize any risks when purchasing materials.
- Monitor (and where required, escalate) any issues that will affect the quality and timeliness of materials supply.
- Prepare periodic (as needed) procurement plans, cash forecast and progress reports as required.
- Collate and analyze historical market and seasonality trends to provide sound recommendations to forecast buffer material levels based on the changes in demand, market trends and equipment availability.
- Work with the Finance Department to forecast cash flow requirements pertaining to material requirements.

**Logistics Activities for the Supply of Materials**
- Manage the logistics activities surrounding material ordering, collection and delivery processes ensuring orders are tracked to avoid delays and interruptions and all warranty claim procedures for equipment are tracked and attended to.
- Directly manage and coordinate with the government authorities to have the required import/export requirements and permits.
- Oversee logistics activities and the management of Material Suppliers and Service Providers, ensuring robust packaging, proper documentation and the most cost effective shipping method is used to facilitate the smooth movement of materials.

**Others**
- Establish, maintain and continue improving documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all areas pertaining to Materials Planning.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Bachelor Degree in Business Studies/IT/Computer Science/Marketing/Finance
- Minimum of three (3) years experience in IT business related
- Good IT Hardware knowledge
- Materials planning experience supporting Sales operations
- Able to work under pressure and work in fast pace environment
- Detailed oriented, good leadership and growth mindset
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision and meet deadlines

**Salary**: RM5,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
