Laboratory Analyst

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Direct responsible for the supervision of test personnel and test operation at all time for Bacterial Endotoxin Test, Sterility, Bioburden Testing, Environmental Monitoring, Housekeeping and Identification Sections.
- Directly involved in handling of out of limit result for microbiological clean room environmental monitoring.
- Responsible for the overall system of compilation, preparation and release of test results/ reports.
- Responsible for the general calibration and performance of laboratory test equipment.
- Responsible for the availability of testing material/consumables for daily laboratory operation.
- Supporting the superior in ensuring continuous test operation, good performance, maintenance and housekeeping of laboratory equipment and facilities.
- Supporting the superior in achieving outlined laboratory objectives/ targets.
- To organize and supervise various microbiological test/ analysis adhering to approved test methods/ specification/procedures, equipment operating instructions and guidelines for the superior, in ensuring the availability of test operation at all time.
- To assist superior to review and release microbiology report for Pharma finished goods.
- To assist superior to review and microbiology release for Medical Devices.
- To assist superior to review and release gamma sterilized products.
- To review and/ or to verify (if authorized) test results for compliance to the methods/ specification/ procedures, equipment operating instructions and guidelines for the superior.
- To schedule cleaning/ maintenance/ verification/ calibration of test equipment and in maintenance/ calibration record.
- To coordinate the sourcing of new test equipment and repair of laboratory test equipment.
- To prepare test methods/ specification/ procedures and equipment operating instructions.
- To assist in the preparation of microbiological trend analysis as directed by superior.
- To conduct training and evaluation of testing personnel.
- To actively plan and conduct process and test method qualification/ validation/ project activities.
- To undertake full responsibility of the respective testing sections in Microbiology Laboratory (whichever assigned by the superior).
- To directly involve in investigation execution and follow-up for Out of Specification/Limit test result as directed by superior.
- To participate in internal & external audits (if required by the superior).
