Supervise operation team, manage operations, maintenance and servicing of the plants and work with the factory supplier natural gas to ensure smooth continuous running of the plant.
- To operate CHP system and supply hot water/steam to factory.
- Manage and direct day-to-day assigned operation resources to ensure proper planning and timely execution of all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance works.
- Communication focal point to operational stakeholders including: Distribution Licensee (TNB_), feedstock supplier, contractors, equipment vendors, respective government authorities and supporting team members
- To be aware of and to ensure compliance and renewal of respective government authorities' licenses, permits and procedures at all time (liaison with Safety & Regulatory Dept)
- Review daily cheeksheet and weekly plant performance reports
- Prepare and submit monthly performance report
- Manage vendors and contractors during maintenance, plant improvements, etc
- To always ensure that the company is properly represented always towards the suppliers, vendors, contractors, consultants, clients, owners, business associates and others
- Coordinate work with factory operation department person incharge and Chargeman
- Any other ad hoc assignments
- Reporting to O&M Manager and Asset Manager
**Job Requirements**
- Diploma/ Degree in Engineering (Preferably from Mechanical or Electrical)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in operation and maintenance of a chemical plant
- Willing to travel and possess own transportation
- At least Qualified Internal Combustion Engine Driver Grade 2
- Able to work during the weekends and public holiday if required
- Able to work responsibly and independently
- Language: English, Bahasa Malaysia
**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 24 months
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
