Operations Assistant

Port Klang, Malaysia Ben Line Agencies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd Full time

Handle all inward and outward clearance for vessels calling - Liaise with Port Authorities, Immigration Authority, Customs, Berth Location and operation movement. - Prepare summary of vessels condition, etc. - Handle trading certs, post stage control and class surveyor - Organized and coordinate transportation for crew, owner representatives, surveyor and other person - Assist in vetting work for schedule updating and input/output of data. - Preparing of necessary documents for delivery, i.e shipyard permit, port authority approval & etc. - Filing and records document from vessel (voyage) - Provide regular information and to assist with the compilation of reports. - Keeping close update and communication with Principal and vessel/Supt/Owner’s relating to vessel matters. - Other adhoc duties as assigned by HOD. Requirement: Min SPM/STPM/Diploma. Preferable Diploma in Maritime, Transportation Management/ Diploma in Shipping & Logistics - Fresh graduate preferable from Shipping/Maritime related course - Knowledgeable in Port management & vessel clearance formalities & procedure is an advantage - Able to work independently with minimum supervision - Location : Westport
