JOB PURPOSE

Account Assistant responsible to help with accountant directly, helping them complete daily tasks, or may work indirectly, keying in data and compiling information for the Accountants but leaving the final analysis, audit, and approval to the Accountants themselves. Relies as much on administrative skills as accounting knowledge and understanding of financial concepts.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- To handle daily accounting functions, data entry, filing, maintain and updating of accounts records
- Process payments as well as documents like invoices
- Reconcile invoices received with departmental billings
- Issue invoices to customers based on services rendered and/or goods sold
- Review and track employee expenses and make reimbursements as they relate to specific projects and jobs
- Make bank deposits and keep up records
- Validate invoices against items or services received
- Check all financial transactions for accuracy and disburse funds as needed
- Provide administration support and assist other ad-hoc duties as required
- Familiar with Auto-count accounting software will be an added advantage

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Able to follow & comply with APSB’s policies
- At least minimum 1-2 years of working experiences in finance/Accounting/with related working experience are encouraged to apply
- Self-motivated, resourceful, proactive, and can-do attitude an eye for detail and willingness to learn
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision and a good team player
- Must be meticulous, hands on and able to meet deadlines
- Extensive knowledge in MS office is must
- Must process own transport
- Must be able work at Kapar, Selangor and willing to travelling to Miri, Sarawak

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: RM1,500.00 - RM2,000.00 per month

Schedule:
