**Open Position: Regional Finance Controller, SEA (European based Shared Service Company)**

A European based Shared Service Company is currently hiring a Regional Finance Controller to come and join them in the Penang office.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Relevant professional certification such as AACA, CPA, CMA would be added advantage.
- Familiarity with regional accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and execute financial plans, budgets, and forecasts for the assigned region.
- Analyze financial performance, identify variances, and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and communicate the results to senior management and headquarters.
- Enhance and streamline financial systems and processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and reporting capabilities.
- Manage and mentor the regional finance team, providing guidance, performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate with senior leadership team and business leaders in the APAC region to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Proven leadership capability to manage and lead a Finance Department.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at various levels of the organisation.
