Slitter Operator

Load and unload metal coils onto and from the coil slitting machine, using cranes, forklifts, or other equipment
- Adjust and align the slitting knives, spacers, and arbors according to the required strip widths and tolerances
- Operate the coil slitting machine, and monitor the speed, tension, and alignment of the metal strips
- Measure and inspect the metal strips for width, thickness, length, and surface defects, using gauges, micrometers, calipers, and other tools
- Record and report the production data, such as coil number, weight, size, and quality
- Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of the coil slitting machine, and report any malfunctions or issues to the Supervisor
- Follow the safety rules and regulations, and wear the appropriate personal protective equipment
- Performs general housekeeping tasks and waste removal within department and assists other areas as required.
- Ensure compliance with the legal and other requirements is relevant to ISO 9001 & ISO 14001.
- Continuously contribute to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 improvement activities in with Jemco’s objectives.

**Salary**: RM1,500.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
