**Responsibilities**:

- To provide a formal guide to the Admission & Registration Department in providing frontline services in areas such as registration, billing and payment collection, liaising with patients and care givers, and providing financial counselling.
- Update / check daily inpatient statement and do necessary amendment of order entries and packages so that the officers / assistant can speed up the discharge process.
- Keys in medical supplies charges, doctors’ consultation fees, order entries for the diagnostic procedure and testing from the Clinical departments.
- Liaise with Doctor for excess charges, enquiry or deferment and proceed to do necessary reply.
- Monitor daily interim billing so as to ensure that the medical charges do not exceed the insurance coverage amount. If exceeded, liaise with ICC to request for a Top-Up Guarantee Letter. If the Insurance Cover Limit is below the medical charges incurred, advice the Business Office Assistant to collect sufficient deposit to cover both the excess and the further estimate of medical charges.
- Check all the invoices/ bills for correct charging code, doctor code, debtor code, compare sales/ payment slip and proper filling for submission to Finance Department.

**Requirements**:

- At least 2 years of working experience in related field is required for this position.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, Malay or Mandarin.
