**Aluminium Welder Role**

Aluminium Welder: Responsible for welding aluminium components to exact specifications, using specialized welding techniques, tools and equipment. Must possess knowledge of welding processes and safety standards.

**Aluminium Welder Duties**
- Setting up and operating welding equipment to join, surface, fabricate and repair aluminium parts and structures
- Interpreting engineering drawings, plans and instructions to plan layout and procedures
- Preparing and cleaning materials, parts and work surfaces
- Inspecting and testing welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws
- Maintaining and repairing welding equipment
- Maintaining safety rules and regulations
- Have working knowledge of weld procedural requirements and safety requirements for the accomplishment of tasks
- Structural welding and/or fitting of the craft/vehicle
- Determines metals needed, welding methods, and all particulars of requested jobs
- Welding aluminium rail and tubes with a tig
- Exercises care to obtain proper penetration
- Perform necessary routing and cleaning of defective areas prior to welding
- Perform visual and dimensional inspection of castings per part grade levels
- Must know how to look up and understand customer weld requirements, prior to initiating repair work
- Perform MIG welding operations on aluminium

**Aluminium Welder Requirements**
- Must have experience welding aluminium
- Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings
- Must have knowledge of welding techniques
- Must be able to use welding equipment safely

**Aluminium Welder Skills**
- TIG welding
- MIG welding
- Knowledge of aluminium welding processes

**Aluminium Welder Personal Traits**
- Able to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams
- Knowledge of metal properties and welding techniques
- Experience in fabrication and welding
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Ability to use welding machines, tools and other equipment
- Ability to work safely and follow safety procedures

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: From RM2,000.00 per month

- Monday to Friday
