JOB DESCRIPTION:

- The Steward is responsible for maintaining kitchen work areas and food and beverage equipment and utensils in clean and orderly condition. The Steward is a vital support to many departments of the hotel in ensuring the supplies and tools are ready and available to serve the guests.

**REQUIREMENTS**

Secondary school degree preferred and/or previous work experience in service for at least 1 year.

**SKILLS**
- Ability to comprehend and use basic language, either written or spoken, to communicate information and ideas.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
- Ability to perform numerical operations using basic counting, adding, subtracting, multiplying or dividing.
