The primary responsibility of an OSP Rollout Project Manager resolves around initiation, planning, implementation and closing of projects including all instruction, tracking and supervision related to project management and project monitoring. Supervision and tracking of contractors works including quality and OSHE requirement during project implementation. A unique set a coordinated activities with definitive starting & finishing points, undertaken by an individual or organization to meet specific objectives within defined Time, Cost & Performance parameters.
**The work life**:

- Planning, monitoring and control of all aspects of a project and the motivation of all those involved in it, in order to achieve the project objectives within an agreed, period of time, cost and performance.
- Supervision means the act of watching over the work or tasks of another who may lack full knowledge of the concept at hand. Supervision does not mean control of another but guidance in a work, professional or personal context.
- The observation and inspection of work in order to ensure conformity with the contract documents.
- Purchase Request / Purchase Order process for material & equipment requirement
- Installation of network system/ Infra-schedule to start work, way leave approval, material issuance, material/equipment acceptance, coordination meeting, site instruction for any design changes, installation completed as per work specifications.
- Network Testing, Validation & Network Commissioning. This include schedule of testing, permission to enter site, notification of acceptance test to Network Operations, validation to installed network as per design & updating of installed system in Project Management System.
- Responsible for overall implementation of the projects and shall receive acknowledgement/schedule to start work from Contractors/Supplier and to notify the schedule to operation before work begin.
- Must ensure availability of way leave/permission to enter site and readiness of infrastructure.
- To issue material & accessories required for project and inspect material against packing list/confirmed order/PO.
- Ensure that the contractors/suppliers adhere to work safety requirements. Refer to Manual Keselamatan Dan Kesihatan Pekerjaan (MKKP).
- Conduct weekly coordination meeting with contractor and operation groups to review implementation progress and quality of work.
- Should acknowledge and sign SPV Logbook every week for Central Region and every fortnightly for other region.
- To validate the actual implementation as per the design specification (functional and technical) endorse by project planner.
- Ensure accrual and material settlement process and closing of project (change status to 'FINA').
- Responsible to ensure all project details/document are available in the project files.
**All you need**:

- A Bachelor Degree in a Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering OR any Engineering Discipline
- Sound knowledge of telecommunication business processes and have the ability to initiates, coordinates, administrates and negotiates with domestic & international
- With good professional relationship with local authority and government agencies.
- 3 years' working experience in project management, its process and methodology.
- Ability to multi task and juggle projects and assignments with excellent time management.
- Ability to work effectively with personnel at all levels
- Good English command, both spoken and written
- Attention to details and analytical skills
- Strong ability to work well in a team environment.
