Heat Treatment Technician

1. Adjust drying machine controls and observes temperatures during the heat treatment process. 2. Loads fiber bundle into drying oven. 3. Making regular checks during the heat treatment. 4. Making sure the drying machine and other equipment are in good repair 5. Set and adjust speeds of reels and rollers for prescribed time cycles in order to pass parts through continuous drying machine. 6. Adjust controls to maintain temperatures and heating times, using thermal instruments. 7. Performs clean outs of drying machine parts with appropriate PPE and safety precautions. 8. Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. 9. Performs operator maintenance and/ or 5S housekeeping per established schedules. 10. Complete relevant check lists, documentation accurately and timely and per instrustions. 11. Instruct new workers in machine operation. 12. Other duties as assigned.
