The Health Safety and Environment Specialist will implement environment, health and safety management programs for Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia. In this role, you will follow established corporate and local regulatory requirements to ensure successful implementation of HSE programs.

Key Accountabilities
- Assess environment, health and safety risks, opportunities and impacts, standards and regulations and advise on potential impacts to internal and external stakeholders.
- Implement programs and processes in alignment with the environment, health and safety regulatory of government, International Standard Organization (ISO) management system and corporate guidelines.
- Deliver environment, health and safety activities, including emergency response plan, incident and accident management, training implementation and evacuation drill.
- Implement the HSE KPIs/initiatives.
- Handle environment, health and safety related records and reporting of any incidents or accidents related to safety and environment. Investigate the notifications, define preventive and corrective actions, and follows up on implementation.
- Participate and support regular environment health and safety audits and certification program in compliance with established standards.
- Coordinating and supervising the running of HSE Committee and its activities.
- Internally gives training related to health, safety and/or environment topics, selects and coordinates external HS&E training and promotes safe and environment-friendly working conditions towards the organisation.
- Plan, monitor and conduct HSE inspections and audits.
- Conduct periodic safety meetings and audits to ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
- Compile safety statistics report and make recommendations to the Management for continuous improvements.
- Responsible to lead the management of work-related injuries/conditions including injury management and insurance.
- Perform other related duties from to time as instructed.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Nebosh General Certificate or equivalent is preferred.
- Familiarize with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, OSHA 1994, FMA 1967 and any other related regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Words, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Documentations.
- Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics.
- Strong communication skills.
- Willing to travel to Thailand and Indonesia.
